Praise be to God, the One who started creation, and may God's peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, the One who sent with justice, and established the measure of truth, and upon family and all his companions.

The ethics of scientific research and publishing, the constant title of attendance in academic and discussion institutions, and the great concern of those who are in charge of their administrations, and the unceasing conflict and continuous argue in the meeting arenas, and the desire that does not leave the researchers and those who aspire to publish their scientific progeny in the approved platforms. There is an urgent need to clarify the issues, to tighten the rules, to realize the limits, and to be aware from failure in fulfilling their requirements. A conflict is generated as a result the pressure of the academic requirements that insist on publication and the quality parameters and standards that the publishing institutions are keen on, so the effect of this conflict is reflected in the psychology of every researcher and academic.

As a result, motives appears with some that may lead to violate the ethical limits of research and publication. So, a constant need to observe the rules and to developed them in order to protect the atmosphere of scientific and academic research from pollution and to protect the rights of researchers and to maintain the attribute of honesty. And by losing the honesty, science becomes with no value. This thought is the beginning of a series of discussions on the ethics of research and publication.

In today's issue of our journal, we find topics that have a kind of diversity and start with studies about the Holy Qur'an with the discussion of the so-called words of return in the Holy Qur'an: their uses and meanings, then a lexical study related to the stories of women in the Holy Qur'an, and then a study of expressive phonetics that deals with the objection of al-jar and majrur between the verb and the object in Al-Qur'an. In Arabic language studies, there is a study of Al-Ihtiraz in Ibn Aqeel's description.  Al-Balagha and literature, we read about the representational reasoning work among Al-Badi' poets. Among the educational studies of literature, a study about the effect of text comprehension skills in the education and literary appreciation of the subject of literature and texts among students of the fourth grade in high school. Then we find in the world of poetry a study related to the poetry of Hamid Mazal al-Rawi and a study in the literature of the novel. And let's leave language, literature and poetry to look at some legal studies, such as legal guarantees for investment protection in Iraq, as well as international and national criminal responsibility for employees of military and private security companies, and another study of the effects of labor strikes on the contract of employment in Iraqi law.  and then we will finish the Arabic articles with an important educational study for the students of AlMaarif University College and the effect of academic procrastination. Finally, we find in this issue a study in French and another in English and the performance of students in writing skills.

The efforts to present the best progress never stops in our journal or that what we hope.
