Praise be to God, the Revealer of the Qur’an, a guidance for people, and clear proofs of guidance and the criterion, a herald of good news for those who hold fast and a warning for those who are negligent and deteriorate and do not fear suspicions and disobedience, those who sink in the oceans of doubt. May God Almighty bless the best of those on whom the sun rises and the eyes looked at, our Master Muhammed, in whom the greatness of the Creator was manifested in his character and behavior.

And after: the journal of AlMaarif University College (JAUC), by the grace of God, is still a lifeline in it pulsating and its palm is holding on to the balance of integrity. It derives its life from the ink of researchers and scholars that flows with the juices of ideas, expressing the efforts of the people of research, investigation and scrutiny, or this is what the management of the journal seeks and looking for.

This issue, as we are used to, varied in its content between language, literature, history, law, environmental, agricultural and geographical research. In language we look at research on MUJARRAD verbs and MAZEED. In literature, a study of pre-Islamic prose and the literature of that important stage of human history takes us. Another research examines the phenomenon of literary madness and a research that sheds light on the functional roles of literature. From the linguistic educational studies for Kurdish learners of foreign languages, a study emerges that sheds light on important moral and ethical considerations in the educational process. The study environment was at Soran University in Iraqi Kurdistan. Then we find in the legal studies in this issue a serious study about the crime of bribery, especially with regard to sexual temptations. The reader is acquainted with a historical study of the emerging necessities and needs in the modern history of Iraq, the social and economic effects that led to it, and the legal legislation required. Then we find geographical and environmental studies in a number of articles dealing with important issues in the environment, agriculture and water in Iraq.

The journal is still striving, as mentioned above, to provide its readers and researchers with the best possible scientific and academic services by continuing to strive to achieve international standards and through participation in the scientific and academic movement at the local, Arab, regional and global levels.
