Praise be to God, who created the universe and manage it according to the laws of space and time, and subjected it to the most human beings the most appreciated creature among all creation. May blessings and peace be upon the Pearl of Existence, and the guide to creation on the deity, the master of the creation Muhammad, his family and his companions, the people of dignity and benevolence.

Time does not stop flowing, and the years are still since God created the creation, carrying every new day and removing every moment what was expired. This issue appears on us with the arrival of the New Year and the souls are full of hope that this year will bring new things that will revive it with heralds of goodness, progress and development. This issue of ours is being issued while new spirit of hope has flowed in the Journal, after the ministerial recognition established it among the local magazines.  The Journal issue this time with a renewed team joined by a scientific personality with a social status and deep academic experience as the director of the journal's managing editor, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdulmalik Abdulrahman.

This issue comes small in size, but it is not less than the previous ones in terms of scientific value and cultural content. It included a very important study in the language represented in the research that deals with the morphological investigations in the book Al-Talk Al-Sabih on Mishkat Al-Masbah by Muhammad Idris Al-Kandhlawi. The reader finds in the issue intellectual pleasure when he critical studies of Nizar Qabbani's poetry or when he peruses the research related to the analysis of the play Al-Hur Al-Riyahi. In the issue there is a study of the impact of sports activity on academic performance, and there is a study dealing with livestock and their distribution in Erbil Governorate.
