Abstract

In various countries of the world , in various political and legal systems, there is an assistant to the head of state who assists him in running the affairs of the state .he is called vice president, but his role and powers vary according to the constitutional and political system in each country . in some countries he has basic and important powers, except marginal roles in limited areas, especially in the Arab reality, as the president does not exercise any powers and his office is a redundant loop is useless, so this subject will be studied to show the position of vice president of the state in the Arab reality and in a comparative way between Iraq and some Arab regimes.
