Praise be to Allah for his affliction and his blessings, and blessings and peace be upon the best of his prophets, his family, his companions, and his loyal followers.

The University College of Knowledge has used to hold its international periodic scientific conference whenever the appropriate atmosphere and opportunity arises, despite the difficulties and obstacles that the country has had for nearly two decades. The tenth session of the conference came while the world is grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has changed and affected all aspects of life. From economics to education and the general movement of societies in various activities. Mankind's needs and priorities have changed in all nations and countries on this planet.

The editorial board of Journal of AlMaarif University College (JAUC) took the initiative to issue a special issue based on the research presented by the participants in the conference, which was held via the Internet, considering the conditions of societal divergence imposed by the circumstances of the epidemic.

Most of the research papers came describing the effects of the pandemic and its repercussions on various aspects of knowledge and predicting the effects it will leave in the short and long term, while others talked about the necessary measures to avoid the consequences.
