Abstract

The study aims at identifying how the oil revenues in Saudi Arabia can be used to achieve comprehensive development. Oil is considered a poor economic resource. It is characterized by the abundant financial returns that can be used in the development of various economic sectors as well as diversification of the national economy. The Government of the Kingdom to take advantage of the resources derived from the oil sector and the transition from the primitive economy (which depends on fishing and agriculture and some minor crafts and trade) and the traditional economy, to the state of the advanced industrial economy, and then look forward to The structure of the Saudi economy has been transformed into a knowledge economy and a knowledge society under Vision 2030, in accordance with the economic plans adopted by the Government of the Kingdom. In light of benefiting from the revenues of financial oil and employment to serve the economy and society.
